wavelength 12th anniversary festival

February 16, 2012

The snow on Toronto is still on the ground, and I am dreaming of the summer and the music festivals I will go to this year. NXNE and the Toronto Jazz Festival are sure to bring in some big names- and both Pride and Luminato fests feature outdoor musical fare.

But for those who can’t wait for the summer, the Wavelength music series gets the season off to an early start with the celebration of it’s 12 years and over 530 shows in Toronto. The 4 day fest features 4 different sets of no particular genre at 4 different music venues in the city. I will be spending the whole weekend covering the fest, and am particularly looking forward to the Saturday night showcase with No Joy and Sandro Perri.
